How To Make Tasty Doughnuts

*The making of Doughnut*


*INGREDIENTS:*

450g of plain flour
2.5 tbs of yeast
5 tbs of warm water
25g of butter/margarine
1 large egg
180ml milk
 Sugar to taste 
 Salt to taste

*PREPARATION:*

1. Add yeast, 3 tbs flour, 5 tbsp warm water and mix together, cover and leave in a warm place to rise and begin to form bubble in it. Then set aside

2. In another large bowl, add the remaining flour, sugar and salt. Mix well

3. Add the egg, milk, butter and the yeast mixture
4.  Mix for about 10 mins. Then fold into bulb and place in a greased bowl.

5. Cover with a clean napkin or nylon, tilt to one side and leave for about one hour until the dough doubles in size

6. When the dough has risen, place on a floured table

7. Use the wide top of a glass cup, cut the dough into doughnut rounds

8. Heat up the oil and fry the doughnuts for one minute on each side and transfer to sieve

*NOTE:* If you are using powdered milk, kindly dissolve first.
